A Two Week Free Marketing Trial For Businesses On 30a.
Hey friend!
If you’re here, it’s probably because you own a business (or know someone who owns a business) on 30a.
You might have seen an ad that I’m running and thought….
“Interesting, let’s see what this is all about”.
And if so…
Welcome!
Genuinely glad you made it here =)
I’ll give you a really quick intro on who I am, what the two week free trial is all about, who it’s for, and why I’m offering it.
Okay, let’s get started! =)
My name is Colin, and I moved to the SRB area with my wife Lauren and two kiddos back in March.
We have a little boy named Canyon who is three years old, and a little girl named Hope who just turned one.
It’s WILD how fast time goes.
But we’re super grateful for every day we get to spend with them.
We’re about an 8 minute drive from blue mountain beach, which our kiddos absolutely love.
And my son can tell you all about the organic Italian ices he’s eaten over at the Jambos italian ice truck in BMB! haha
Let’s just say, he’s a fan.

Prior to moving here, we lived in Edmond, Oklahoma for a year where I was helping out a ministry for a short period of time.
And prior to that, we lived in Texas for right around 9 years.
If you’re wondering why we moved to 30a, well there’s a much longer story to that, but the short answer is…
The beach =)
I mean, it’s pretty hard to beat, right?
And honestly, it’s been really amazing living here.
We’ve met some amazing families (both people visiting 30a, and people living here), and got to start a business which (thank you Lord) is doing well.
We’re really grateful.
That business we started (and still run) when we first moved here is a family photography business called “Families On 30a” (over at familieson30a.com)
Again, we still run that business.
Lauren does the photography side of things.
And I manage the marketing side of things.
And yes, we absolutely love running a business together!
We actually started that business by simply making a post in a local SRB moms facebook group (which Lauren is a part of) offering a handful of families a free photo session on the beach in exchange for leaving us a review on google, and for being able to use their photos on our website “portfolio” (as well as in our paid advertising)
Thankful, those families had a great session with Lauren, left us nice reviews, and allowed us to use their photos on our website.
From there, I fired up some good ole’ google ads and meta ads, and things have been doing really well =)
We’re now in the process of building out another business (which is this business - Coast Collaborative) that will be dedicated to serving other business owners on 30a as it relates to marketing and branding related services.
And we want to take the same approach that we took with the photography business.
Starting it by helping a handful of people (and their businesses) completely for free.
To give you a quick idea…
Before Lauren and I moved to FL, we built and operated a branding and headshot photography business in TX (which was called “Lauren Bethany Branding”) where we helped provide over 1,500 business owners and entrepreneurs with updated professional photos (headshot photos and branding photos) that they would use to update their websites, create content on social media, use for billboards, use for their marketing/advertising, etc
Again, Lauren did the photography side of things for that business.
And I managed the marketing/advertising/etc.
Meaning, she was the talent behind that business, and I just was there to help us get more clients =)
That business was built mostly through the use of paid advertising. (mostly google ads, bing ads and meta ads)
Over the years, I’ve also managed advertising and marketing for clients (in quite a few different industries) on a “freelance” basis, as well as for a few on a partnership basis, and even including some freelance work for a few non-profits.
I’ve worked with budgets anywhere from $5k/month up to $300k/month (on the paid ads side of things).
Both investing my own money in advertising for businesses Lauren and I have run, as well managing advertising spend for clients.
I’ve built and managed ad campaigns on pretty much every major ad platform you can think of like:
Google ads
Microsoft (bing) ads
Meta ads
Youtube ads
Tiktok ads
Linkedin ads
Snapchat ads
I’ve built tons of landing pages, built websites, wrote tons of emails, wrote a whole lot of ad copy, set up automation, built CRM’s and pretty much anything you can think of related to marketing/advertising and systems/automation.
Again, both for businesses that I’ve run with Lauren, as well as for clients.
For local businesses, online businesses, e-commerce businesses, non-profits, etc
And basically everything that I’ve done has been from a “performance marketing” (or “direct response”) point of view, where the main focus was to run advertising that’s focus was on generating a clear (and measurable) ROI.
So long story short, that is going to be the focus of this business, Coast Collaborative.
Focused on serving local 30a businesses with marketing/branding and systems/automation related services.
Lauren helping with the photography/videography side of things.
And me helping with the marketing/systems/automation side of things.
Specifically services like:
Marketing strategy
Paid advertising (on platforms like google, bing, meta, youtube, linkedin, etc)
Photography (to update websites, social accounts, for ads, etc)
Videography (for websites, for creating ads, etc)
Copywriting (for ads, email marketing, landing pages, websites, etc)
Email marketing
Automation
CRM set up/optimization
And even some website/landing page building - if needed
And like I mentioned, as we get this business started, we are wanting to offer a handful of business owners on 30a with a completely free two week trial of our services.
Again, my focus is all things related to marketing/advertising and systems/automation, and Lauren’s focus would mostly be on the photography (and some videography) side of things.
We would collaborate (hence the name “Coast Collaborative”) on which service might be best for your specific business for that two week trial.
For some, it might be a focus on building and managing a google search ads campaign for those two weeks. (we would just ask that you would cover the ad spend side of things during the free trial)
For another, it might be helping you to create some video ads that we can then use to launch on meta ads (as an example) to try and get you some more customers.
By the way, you can take a look at a video we made below (for our family photography business) where we did that exact thing.
Creating a video designed to generate leads for us when running paid ads.
And by the way, we’re currently running this video as an ad on meta and it’s working pretty good =)
Just wanted to give you an example of what I’m talking about! (that video below)
For another, it might be capturing some new photos that you can use to update your website, social media, etc.
For another, it might be helping to set up some better automation in your business so things can run a bit more smoothly.
For another, it might be helping you finally get your CRM dialed in so that everything is nice an organized.
Etc.
And in exchange for that, all we would ask is that you would consider leaving us a review on google and/or creating a video review for us (if you were open to that), as well as being able to use whatever service we provide during that two week free trial as a “case study” on our website.
And of course, after the two weeks, we would love to continue working together - if we both felt like the engagement made sense.
But if not, that’s okay too.
The only requirement that we would have is that your business is not a start up and that it has been running for at least 4 years, and is located on 30a.
Preferably, you would also already be investing at least 10k/month into your advertising.
But that’s not a total “deal breaker” for us, if you’re not.
I’ve just found businesses that are already investing in advertising are the ones I can (usually) help the most).
If this is something you are interested in personally, or if you happen to know another business owner that this might be a good fit for, please feel free to fill out the quick form below!
Looking forward to chatting soon =)
Thanks so much!
-Colin & Lauren Ferrall
